Overview

Mario Kart with a twist! This time two players team up on one kart to compete in the battle, versus and tournament modes. With a whole range of characters, including several newcomers, this double dashing game makes twice the fun and twice the excitement of any ordinary racing game! One shoots while the other one drives the way to victory, with all of the usual Mario Kart trimmings, except the hop powerslide… As well as some new characters there are even special items for each pairing.

Did You Know?

  • There have been glitches rumoured in the game that Petey Piranha cheats throughout the game. Apparently he gets items even though he doesn’t go through any item boxes.
  • This is the first time Toadette appears.
  • To get a time trial password after completing a Time Trial and reaching the “Retry/Change Course/Exit.” screen simply press L, R, L, R, X, Y, X, Y, Z. You then will be given a unique code which can be used to record your score in official tournaments.
