Welcome to Mario Stadium
Oct 13th, 2011, Articles, No Comments
Welcome to the new Mario Stadium. As you can see a lot of changes have been made in appearance and interactivity with the site. I hope you like the new changes. Sorry for the long delay, but with Mario Kart 7 lurking around the corner, it was important to get Mario Stadium back on course.
Appearance
The first easy to see change is the appearance of the site. An important aspect of Mario Stadium now is that you’ll be able to see its content easily on any device, whether you view Mario Stadium on your iPhone, Android, tablet or PC – since the layout adapts to the resolution (you can see the effect by re-sizing the browser window).
Game Navigation
The small tab below the top banner when clicked will also uncover all game related content. Clicking the arrows allows you to navigate between the different games and its content.
Content Management System
Mario Stadium is now using a Content Management System which makes it a lot easier for me (and perhaps others in the future) to add or update content on the site, which will hopefully increase the amount of updates made and community involvement. Also since I’m now using a CMS it should now make features that I had planned to add a lot easier to incorporate.

Mario Kart 7
And of course, Mario Kart 7 is coming upon us. A new section dedicated to the game has been added including the latest information on the items, characters, media, etc… to be included. I’m sure you’re already aware of the latest information on Mario Kart 7, such as the confirmation of Metal Mario, Shy Guy and Lakitu as playable characters; in addition to new items: the Fire Flower and Tanooki.
Here’s a gameplay video of Mario Kart 7 to wet your appetite.
You can see how long you have to wait for Mario Kart 7 at the bottom left of the site.
Thanks for coming to Mario Stadium and if you have any comments or suggestions please contact me or leave a reply.
